A personal anthology, Monochrome and Colour is a body of work taken without the agenda of a creative brief. The images reflect McCartney’s search for unstaged intimacy, a moment that lets us in, gained from trust gained rather than the desire for a formal set up or constructed pose.

This informality belies the work with sitters, family or friends, to secure the trust that allows those moments to arrive.
