“Portraits” is a collection of works by Mary McCartney, iconic and intimate they capture new subjects alongside the comfort of familiar faces.
Within these pages, one encounters portraits that are as provocative as they are alluring. This body of work includes subject such as Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Kate Moss, Emma Stone, Morgan Freeman and Joni Mitchell and delves deep into the essence of her subjects. This new selection of works, spanning her thirty year career, has been curated by McCartney with the viewer in mind. To create a zine which presents unseen works from her more infamous shoots, giving a small glimpse into her vast archive. McCartney’s work pays homage to the artistry of portraiture. Her connection with the sitter is intimate, personal and engaging, the viewer becomes both participant and an observer of these private moments.
